saw a post about percy choosing to fall into tartarus with annabeth and like, yes. not only is that why i love them and something that shaped how i see fictional romance. but it didn't just shape my ideas fictional romance, but my ideas of real relationships.

would i fall into tartarus for them, with them, because i would rather die together than live with having left them?

i ask myself this about people, now. not just romance, either, but my friends. my family. sometimes the answer isn't yes. sometimes the answer is "i'd let them fall." i don't know what that says about me, but i don't know if i care, either.

but if you're one of those people, where I've asked myself this, and the answer is an instant yes, you are more important to me than i can explain. i don't often tell them (read: i never do), but i know it, and that's often enough for me.

i would fall into tartarus with you. i would fight my way through hell with you. i love you more than i can say.

tumblr users will have the most inaccessible, unreadable, low contrast, flashing carrd you can possibly imagine, with a dni full of insider acronyms with no translation and numerous link buttons labelled with cryptic captions, and then go ahead and put “ableists dni and kys!” on that carrd
